NFL Draft 2022: Best Available Players For Day 2

A wild Round 1 of the 2022 NFL draft was headlined by a pair of stunning trades, along with several teams that moved up for mid-first-round talent. First, the expected happened: Georgia’s Travon Walker and Michigan’s Aidan Hutchinson went first and second, followed by a host of other defensive players. Then, trades saw six receivers jump off the board, including Arkansas’s Treylon Burks, who was selected by the Titans after they dealt star wideout A.J. Brown to the Eagles.

The Steelers were the only team to gamble on a quarterback in Round 1, picking Pitt’s Kenny Pickett at No. 20. Liberty’s Malik Willis will start Friday as one of the top players remaining. He’s joined by Iowa State running back Breece Hall, Georgia linebacker Nakobe Dean and other collegiate stars who didn’t hear their names called on Thursday night in Las Vegas.
